After being gone for quite sometime......

Cale walks into the Tavern.
He looks depressed which is odd for him.
He wears his hair back in a ponytail, Some loose strands lay at the side of his face.
His ears twitch for a second.
His attire is the same as most of the time.
Black leather pants.
Nothing more minus his boots.
His Mithril Sword hangs at his side as he leans on the bar.
"Where is Everyone?"
He says to himself.
He sits down and pulls out a piece of parchment and takes a quill from the bar.
He starts to write random things in hope that he won't have to wait long for Interaction or the grace of a old friends face.

The bar maid sees you enter. "What can i get for you sir" she asks. "Iv not seen your friends for some time." "I hope all is well in the land we a very grateful for what you have done."

The Elf turns around and smiles at the Bar maid.
"Uhmmmm... I'll take the fifth strongest drink you have."
He hands the Bar Maid the Gold and then frowns.
"For some time huh? That's disapointing to hear. I was hoping to see if they were all doing well and such. But i'm sure i'll run into them eventually. In the meantime i can find something to entertain myself with"
He smiles and waits on his drink and any other conversation the Bar maid might have.

She brings the drink. "Im sure they will be along." After a short time the made comes over to you.

"You just received this from a messenger." She hands you a folded note.

The Elf takes the drinks and sips on it from time to time.
When handed the note he looks at it quizicly in his own hands.
He then turns to the Bar maid.
"Thank you ma'am"
He then slips a five gold piece on the table and takes his drink and the note to a corner table, sits down, and reads the note.

Not long after Cale moves to his table, Alanna enters through the tavern doors. The only sound alerting to her presence being the click of the doors as they close once more. Her mostly skeletal form is dressed in a black corset, black skirts, and boots. Gripped in her left hand is the double edged scythe.

Alanna's red glowing eyes cast an eerie gaze as they sweep across the tavern, pausing on the bar maid one minute, falling upon Cale the next. She begins to glide across the floor as she moves toward Cale, her foot steps barely audible. Alanna stands very close to the preoccupied Elf, her eyes casting a red glow upon the note he is reading.

"What are you doing?" She asks in a discorperal, ethereal voice that lingers in the air. The fact that she has no jaw whatsoever makes the fact that she is still able to speak even more haunting.

The Elf jumps at the voice and falls on his back.
He grabs the note and puts it in his pocket.
He then stands and brushs the dirt off of his self.
"Alanna you know better than to do that."
He picks up his drink and takes a sip of it and then pulls up a chair and offers it to her.
"Please sit. I was just reading a note that a runner had brought me. Nothing special. Just something i'll have to deal with."
He then sits down in his chair and smiles to her.
"And how've have you been? It has been a while since i last alid eyes on you."

If Alanna could have smirked at the Elf's reaction, she would have. Instead she smirked on the inside. Slowly she tilted her head to the side and said, "Do what? I merely asked a question." Her voice still held that discorperal timber, though it had a trace of monotone now, as well.

Slowly she sunk into the chair, numerous grotesque cracks and pops could be heard from her body, her skeletal hand still gripping the scythe. "Nothing too serious, I would hope. I have been... fine. To say the least. Just attending to business here and there."

The Elf tilts his head.
"You snuck up on me love. I thought we figured out i didn't liek that at the Void battle"
He laughs a little to himself and smiles.
"No. Nothing to serious i beleive. Just something that has to be done. So how have things been around here since i've been gone?"

Alanna stares at Cale for a few cold minutes before responding to him. "Sneaking would mean appearing behind you. I was in front of you. Those ears don't seem to aid your hearing much..." Her voice trails off as she looks around the tavern, sighing somewhat at the fact it was just her, Cale, and the bar wench in the tavern currently.

"Honestly, I do not know. I just came back, actually. I was here momentarily after the last gathering, then left."

The Elf frowns.
"Very true but the fact that you made no noise also means you were sneaking, Even if not intentionally."
He then picks up his bottle and sips from it.
He watches as she looks around the room and then sighs.
"That means you don't know where the others are or how they're faring. Oh Well, They'll pop up eventually."
He then smiles and looks around the room his self.
"It is quite dead in here isn't it?"

"No, I do not know where they are. I know where my master is, and where you are... And I know where I am. That is all." Alanna sighs again and leans back, her spine stretching with loud, wet pops. She stares at Cale once more, head tilting to the side. "Depends on your definition of dead..." She chuckles hollowly, skeletal fingers drumming against the scythe now.

The Elf smiles and laughs at his accident of forgetting to think before he speaks.
"Oh i'm sorry if that was at all offensive but wow. I really do need to start thinking before i speak."
He smiles as he leans back.
"I know where i am, Where you are, And where that BarMaid is. If i had to guess i would say Bob is in the Mountains still but i've no clue"

Alanna chuckles again. "No offense taken..." She murmurs. With her free hand Alanna removes a black book plus quill from the pocket in her skirt and begins jotting down random thoughts. If one looked close enough, you notice the writing is in symbols, not in letters.

"Well Bob needs to drag his ass down from the mountain if he's there..."

The elf smiles as he learns that No Offense was taken.
"I agree. They all need to show up soon. I would like to know what trouble we've gotten into since i've been gone"
He sips from his drink and pulls a piece of paper out and grabs the nearst quill to him.
He then starts to write small notes and sips from his drink every so often.

The tavern doors, his clothes torn to rags and covered in dirt and debris. He wears a half-friendly, half-devious smile on his face and deep gashes in his back. He walks up and checks the missive board for any new happenings and then looks around for any familiar faces. Spotting Cale and Alanna he lumbers over to their table and plops down with a thud. He gives Cale a rather "spirited" smack on the back.

"Well hello there!" *noticing the contents of Cale's glass*, "What the?!...Cale, that's woman drink! I thought I taught you better than that?!" *He signals to the bar maid* "A bottle of Vampiric Embrace over here, on Cale's tab!"

He then turns his attention to Alanna.

"Present company excluded on the woman comment of course. I'm sure you can handle your drink with the best of them, seeing how you have no blood stream to speak of." *giving a wink in her direction* "So how's it going sexy?"

The elf jumps as he hears the crash of the doors and turns to see his old friend looking as Damned as ever.
He turns and smiles to Alanna and then takes a sip of his drink.
He falls, yet again, out of his chair when smacked on the back by Bob and looks up to him.
"You did teach me better but i was waiting for you to drink it with."
He stands up and brushes the dirt off of his shoulders again.
He then pulls up another chair and motions for Bob to sit.
As he himself sits down he laughs at the Sexy comment.
"I'm doing pretty good at the moment. And yourself?"
He laughs and accepts the drink from the Bar maid, slipping her another 5 gold piece.

Cale pulls out the note and reads over it again.
He sits for a bit and thinks.
As he thinks a thought comes to him.
In his mind he says the three words and he also means them.

"I trust You"

"If there's been any trouble, it certainly is not on me..." Alanna replied slowly, hollowly, monotonously. Her eyes never left the paper as her skeletal hand flowed gracefully with the quill as she scrawled symbols across pages.

A deep, malicious cackle escapes her at Bob's comments. "You flatter me, Bob. I'm doing well, I suppose. Have you ever wondered why a raven is like a writing desk...?" Her voice lilts ever so slightly as she proposes the odd question, glowing eyes still upon the book before her, fingers still drumming on the scythe's handle.

As he waits for something to happen he looks at the Death Knight and smile.
"I haven't The Slightest idea."
He then sips out of his original drink and smiles even wider.

To Cale : When you speak in your mind that you trust me you hear back, "Good I was hoping that you could figure it out I knew you were smart. Hello my young friend I am Inkalltary and I will guide you in your new life. But first you must gather your friends and meet me in the green patches of Malfair to the North. Come as soon as you can."

To the rest of the patrons in the Tavern:

The bar maid brings you the drink as requested with a smile, "it is good to see the heroes coming back to visit the bottle is on the house." She sets the bottle down and goes about her duties.

The doors of the tavern swing open and in comes a large round creature with many eyes all over it. It floats about 3 feet off the floor leaving a black trail behind it. Looking as if it is looking for something it turns its attention to the death knight. It floats over to you and open its mouth showing rows of sharp teeth, if you look inside you see the image of your master.

"Heh, exactly..." Alanna replies to Cale. She stops writing and places the book and quill away. Upon hearing the tavern doors swing open, Alanna looks over and holds the many-eyed creature in a piercing gaze. "Hmm..." She mutters, and unfazed by the creature, leans forward ever so slightly to peer in its mouth. Upon seeing the image of her master, she says, "Yes?"

"I trust your journey was uneventful." It begins to speak. "We have work to do, you must head North to Malfair. Something is brewing and I wish to know what is happening."

With that said the creature closes its mouth and phases from view.

Cale acts calmly as Inkalltarys voice sounds through his head.
He smiles and nods as if in agrement that he will do what has been asked of him.
When the Creature burst through the doors, The elf just mearly ignores it untill hearing talk of Malfair.
"I'll Accompany you Alanna. I've got some buisness in Malfair as well."
He then looks to Bob and smiles.
"....And Bob will come with us. He's good to have around"

"I understand." She calmly tells the beholder and watches it phase from view. She then says to Cale, "I don't particularly require an escort, but since you have business there as well, so be it..." Alanna stands from the table and begins to glide out the tavern doors, clearly waiting for no one.
